“Abracadabra. “Welcome Sally, Jack, Dodger and Algrego to the stage’’ says Algregos assistant” “Hi! my name is Algrego and these are my 4 years old birds there breed is a talking parrot. “Hi said the talking parrots’’.  

Starting the show Algrego lights a wand on fire and says it better work. “It better work.  Do you think it's going to work and he magically made a big fat fluffy white bird on the top of the stick and the bird said  my name is Sally the talking parrot. “By sally says the crowd. Next Algrego asks for some volunteers.Everyone puts there hands up and Algrego says you there young man and you there. Can you please hold that hulahoop there please and can you please hold that there. Holding the gear there  Algrego says it better work it better work the bird shoots strongly out of the wide stick and zips as fast as lighting through the hula hoop and lands up on Algregos magical arms. Everyone claps and whistles the bird said my name is Jack the talking parrot. Next it was Dodgers turn Algrego said it better work it better work Dodger appeared out of a tissue and flies up into the sky over the crowd and lands back on the stage. Goodbye everyone Thanks for being a good audience said Dodger.

His Assistant said hope we will be able to see you guys next year with the birds. Bye says the birds.

Oooooooh yay we’re there cutting up the bait it slithered through my hands and I slipped the hook threw the bait. It was yuck. I gently lowered  my line into the water the little sprats went yummy when they saw it. I kept lowering my line into the water it hit the water and made a huge splash. The sprats jumped into the air and went back down into the water. They finally got hooked on the sharp, sharp hook my Dad got hooked up as well as me. They were little kahawai I screamed my head off because I was so happy. We put our line in the water again and started pulling up fish faster than a fish would swim. Hauling up fish’’ my Dad and I never gave up.’’ Our bucket was full with nice small karwia.

How to plant pumpkin seeds

Pumpkins are real firm and good for your body because they are vegetables. vegetables are healthy and it provides protein for your body.

Today I’m going to show you how to plant pumpkin seeds.

equipment

• some soil that is any kind.
• pumpkin seeds that had been dried for 2 weeks.

• a container to grow the pumpkins seeds in  

• some water
• a tiny spade

steps

step 1 Pour the soil into the container.

step 2 Dig a little hole in the soil and put a seed in the hole.

step 3 cover the seed with soil

step 4 pour water on the soil where you planted the seed

step 5 put them in the sunshine

after 2 weeks you will see a stork with a leaf shooting out of the ground and underneath the soil there will be roots growing longer and longer you can make pumpkin soup and  you can also make a pumpkin pie. you might have to repot the plant once the plant is about 4cm tall and  2cm wide it will probably take 4 weeks for it to start to shoot and that’s how you plant pumpkin seeds.

Little Red Riding Hood

We have been learning to use present participles in our writing.

Meeting the cheeky wolf in the forest, Little Red Riding Hood talked to it.

The wolf said, “Where are you off to, my dear?”

“I’m off to see my grandma at her cottage, to drop off some goodies.”

The sneaky wolf was asking weird sneaky questions. He asked, “What is in that basket, Little Red Riding Hood?”

“Cookies.”

Deciding to carry on, Little Red Riding Hood set off. It was soundless for a few minutes. As she carried on, she came to her cottage. Hearing her grandma's voice, Little Red Riding Hood said to Grandma, “Good morning. I have some goodies for you. I will put them on your nice soft bed, okay.”

Coming out thinking what was in the basket, Grandma said, “What’s in that giant basket?” It was the wolf acting as Grandma, as Grandma was  taped up in the cupboard.

Touch Time

We have been learning to use a present participle in our writing.

‘‘Warming up my team, I stretched and passed the ball around to be good at catching it. It was time to start the game.

The opposition got the ball first. They ran down the sideline but we were too fast for them. We kept holding them off. It was time for our turn with the ball.

Passing the ball to Mia, she rocketed down the sideline and scored a marvellous try my team and I clapped. 

Zigzagging through the whole team, Mark placed the ball on the try line.

Today, I was confirmed by Bishop Steve and I received my First Holy Eucharist.

Snow Time

It was a cold snowy morning. I looked outside and saw snow everywhere. I thought that I was in the North Pole because it was so cold and white.

I ran and got my warm gear and I leaped into the snow. I dug a big hole and my brothers hopped in it. I was jumping around everywhere and throwing giant snowballs at my brothers. They threw them back at me.
After that, my brothers and I made a big snowman. It was hard and solid. It was quite hard to make. It had one big nose. We put chocolate buttons on its stomach and a small scarf around its neck. It was blowing really hard and it was like the size of me.

It was the first snow fall. I saw a thick snowy layer around my ptoperty. It was melting. I was throwing snow balls at houses.

The Big Brown Bear

Once upon a time  Charlie and Mathew found a spooky cave. They ducked down and tiptoed quietly into the quite dark cave.They saw a big black shadow getting closer towards them. They  were getting chased by a big brown bear. Suddenly Mathew and Charlie tripped on a big rock. The bear got closer and closer. They got up as fast as they could. They didn't want to climb a tree because they new bears could climb trees. They jumped a fence.  there was a dog that led them to bear park and it was wonderful.

The frightened frog

Splish! Splosh! Splash! The rain tumbled onto the frog's raft. The yellowish greenish petals smoothly floated downstream towards the sea. The bamboo boat smoothly drifted through the strong current. A twig drifted through the current with the big fat slippery slimy frog travelling on it. 

The Duckling Story

Cheep ! Cheep.!

Mother  Duck was leading her  nine  little fluffy  ducklings across the  road  towards a pond.  She stepped over this iron grate and she didn’t worry about it.

Suddenly ,her nine little ducklings fell through a rusty old iron grate. They were terrified. Travis saw it at the time and  went to help the little fluffy ducks.  Mother Duck was going back and forth , searching for her nine little ducklings.

Travis gently lifted up the iron grate and carefully lifted them  out, one by one. Three couldn’t get up the curb so Travis had to do another help. After that , they waddled off happily ever after.

Yesterday at ngaruawahia pools we had saint pauls swimming sports.First we walked down when we arivved we went and got dressed.After that mr k told us the instrions.Then we got streight into it.I just coulnd belive that I was diving in to that nise sparckly water.Then we had the mealdy jasmine did it for our house  and

 
won.After that we got into the races first I did backstroke and came 3rd Zac came 2nd and Hunter came 1st.Then we did one lenth freestile then whosh I was in that sparkly water gliding through it and I came first

first day of swiming

On the first day of swiming we first did rocket arms and our hole class hoped in the water and some of us went in the big pool.We had to swim from oneside of the pool to the other side and we all made it with out stoping.The second day we did some rocket arms  then we wanted to do a bomb   in the deep end of the big pool  but we wernt allowed to.

First Day Jitters

Today is the first day of school in 2015. I am in Room 4. I am in Year 4. This morning, I was nervous because I never knew what our class was going to be like.                                                                     Today is the second day. I felt a lot better.
